Your first visit
Forty-five minutes, and you leave knowing what is going on
Nobody enjoys booking something when they do not know what happens. Here is the whole appointment, start to finish.
The appointment, in order
You tell us what happened
The first fifteen minutes are questions and listening. What hurts, when it started, what makes it worse, and what you need to get back to.
We assess and explain
A physical assessment, then a plain-English explanation of what we think is going on. No jargon, and no diagram you cannot read.
You leave with a plan
Hands-on treatment on the day, plus specific things to do at home. You will know what to expect and roughly how long it should take.
The practical part
What to wear
Something you can move in. For a knee, hip or ankle, shorts are ideal. For a shoulder or neck, a singlet or a loose t-shirt. We have shorts here if you come straight from work.
What to bring
Your private health card if you have one, any scans or specialist reports, and your referral if you are claiming through Medicare, DVA or WorkCover. If you have none of these, come anyway.
How long it takes
Forty-five minutes for the first appointment. Arrive five minutes early the first time so the paperwork does not eat into it.
Getting here
We are on William Street. There is paid street parking on the block and the Perth Busport is a seven-minute walk. The entrance is at street level with no steps.
